My children have some learning disabilities which make reading difficult for them. Reading to them not only ensures quality time with them, but allows me to share wonderful stories with them!
Sounds so cool I loved that story as a child. bgary18ATsbcglobal.net
To watch the excitement in their eyes and then when they start to remember the story and read it back to you

It is a time, where there is nothing else going on. I don't worry about other things, my son enjoys being read to.

I love to lay on the rug and pull the kids up and read a great book. It brings us closer.
I love reading to my children because I enjoy helping them grow their imaginations and it is a fun way to connect with them.

My favorite part about reading to my son is when he carries a book across the room and plops down into my lap with it. He's only just started walking so it cracks me up every time he toddles over unsteadily with a giant book in his hands!

I love reading my children stories that I loved as a child. It is great to see a love of reading growing in them.

I love sitting with my son on my lap and reading to him because its bonding time. He loves it even though he can't really understand yet (he's 5 months old) and I love it because I spend quiet time with him and I get to read the very same stories that my mom read to me a million or so years ago. It's honestly my favorite part of the day.

I love to see my children get so excited about the stories when I read to them. It especially warms my heart to see my oldest daughter read to my youngest son stories that we've read together. She can't read yet, but she "reads" the pics and remembers what I read to them. Thanks for the chance!

The think I love most about reading to little ones is the excitement in their faces. I also love when they ask questions about the story, which means they are truly engaged.

Just spending time reading to them is the best. I love to see the joy in their faces when I read to them.
I love how it's not only teaching my little guy about the world around him, but also engaging his imagination!!
I love my daughter's reaction to the stories. It's like I'm reading the book again, as if I were a child too because I get to experience it from her point of view. I love it!
