I think possibly there are more house fires around this time of year but I think the 4th of July is probably the most fire prone.

I would think so, with the trees, the lights, candles, and all the other things. I think it would increase the chances of a fire.

I think more fires happen in the winter - more than just at Christmas time. People are just plain cold and do things that aren't wise to get warm.

I would think because of the holiday lights, dry pine needles and people not remember to turn off Christmas lights when they leave the house all lead to more fires!
