PRODUCT REVIEW

During my graduate school years I had a group of friends that were from Cyprus, a small country near Greece. They would always cook Mediterranean food in the dorm and you could smell it throughout the 4 floors. I loved it and began eating with them almost every other day or so. The food was always so full of flavor and healthy too. After we moved away from one another, I continued to eat their Mediterranean food and still do today!

Cedar's Mediterranean Foods has an amazing variety of Mediterranean products such as hommus, fresh salads, salsa, wraps, pita chips, and tzatziki. There isn't a product in this group that won't make your mouth water. In fact, each of these items go great together or alone...that's one of my favorite things about Mediterranean food! We received coupons for several of the products and have tried most of them. Our favorite out of all of the products were the Garlic Lovers Organic Hommus paired with the All Natural Sesame Pita Chips.

We make our own Hommus and we thought it was pretty good. Boy were we wrong...ha. We've been making it for over a year now and I'm sad to say that it didn't even come close to the smooth flavor or just perfect texture of the Cedar's Garlic Lovers Organc Hommus. Guess we'll just have to start buying this instead of making our own...I don't think I'd mind too much. =-)

If you're new to Mediterranean cuisine, don't fear! Cedar's has you covered. They have some amazing recipes that will start you out just right! The recipes will make you want to eat Mediterranean foods on a weekly (if not) daily basis. We tried the Cedar's Greek Wraps recipe and it blew us away! We spiced it up with a few of our favorite vegetables and we used the Naturally Delicious cucumber & garlic Tzatziki.

When I went shopping for Cedar's Mediterranean Foods, I found them at the nearest Whole Foods Market. I suggest you call around to your local stores instead of wasting gas, but it's up to you!
