Today is the official day of the Organic After Party Review & Giveaway Event! I'm starting with a very delicious and nutritious review and giveaway sponsored by Nielsen-Massey Vanillas!
Nielsen-Massey Vanillas has been producing premium pure vanilla products since 1907. From its ever-popular Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla to custom blends and flavors created for specific customer needs, Nielsen-Massey has earned the reputation as the producer of fine vanillas worldwide.
As a family owned and managed business, Nielsen-Massey is committed to and truly cares about its customers. With this commitment comes a pledge to continue producing the world's finest Pure Vanillas batch after batch - a promise that has been kept for nearly a century.
Being a snack lover, we usually buy Sam's Club vanilla for our cookies, brownies, and cakes. I know, I know...it isn't organic but it does allow us to be frugal. My mom always laughs and tells me that cooking and baking are two places you should not be frugal.
Nielsen-Massey Vanillas was kind enough to supply me with a sample of the Organic Madagascar Bourbon Pure Vanilla Extract. Let me just say, it's simply amazing. I twisted the top off of the 4oz bottle and I was immediately immersed in the wonderful smell of vanilla. Only the finest and best vanilla's put out these types of fragrances. The Sam's Club vanilla is quite dull and always makes me wonder if I should add more...haha.
For our review, we baked Not So Blonde Brownies. The recipe came from the Nielsen-Massey Vanillas Recipe section. Talk about delicious. Just as the recipe explains, everything in this recipe that has chocolate or chocolate flavor also has vanilla. MMM! Enjoy the stock image below.
Organic Madagascar Bourbon Pure Vanilla Extract is perfect for me and my family because it is:
- the world's most popular vanilla.
- a rich, creamy, "sweet" vanilla, mildly assertive, with old-fashioned vanilla flavor.
- an ideal all-purpose vanilla.
Don't want to wait until the giveaway is over to try the Organic Madagascar Bourbon Pure Vanilla Extract product from Nielsen-Massey Vanillas? I don't blame you one bit. You can buy them online.
Stay Connected: 'Like' them on Facebook.

I didn't know that in baking if you cream the vanilla with the shortening or butter portion of the ingredients, the fat encapsulates the vanilla which prevents it from volatilizing in the baking process.
