PRODUCT REVIEW
Soda will rot your teeth! Gummy bears aren't breakfast food! Brush your teeth before you goto bed! These are just a few of the many sayings I remember hearing my mom tell me as a tween. I'd roll my eyes, turn on my heels, and let out a very loud and annoying "humph". Wow...I can't believe I did that and I can't believe I ate/drank what I did. My how times and people change. Funny thing though, brushing your teeth still keeps your breath fresh and your teeth clean. Eating snack foods can still lead to bad teeth and unhealthy gums...oddly enough, somethings never change!
Crest and Oral-B Pro-Health FOR ME is the first and only complete line of oral care products for tweens (kids 8+) created to protect the areas dentist check in kids, in the flavors and designs older children will like. Finally, a product out there that kids will actually approve of and use without having to be pushy as my mother pushed me. Thank you Crest and Oral-B! I believe I speak for both the children and the parents!
The Crest & Oral-B Pro-Health FOR ME line includes the following items all in Minty Breeze flavor except the toothbrushes:
- Pulsar Toothbrush ($6.99 Value) or CrossAction Toothbrush ($3.99 Value)
- Fluoride Anticavity Toothpaste (4.2oz - $2.75/6oz - $3.25 Value)
- Anticavity Fluoride Rinse ($4.59 Value) - Alcohol free
- Floss Picks ($2.49 Value) - tween-inspired color and design
Visit the Crest Store Locator to find out where you can buy the Crest & Oral-B Pro-Health FOR ME products for your tween. While you're waiting for the giveaway to end, go play the Crest & Oral-B Yuck Mouth Game (iPhone, Android app, or online) and see if you can make the chosen teeth squeaky clean!
- Leave a comment letting me know if your children just can't stand brushing their teeth and what you do to persuade them

My daughters, now teens, have no problem brushing their teeth. When the youngest was small...it was a chore to get her to brush hers. I let her pick out her own toothpaste (usually a character or a flavor she liked) and toothbrush, and found that helped. Thanks for the review and giveaway!

My son loves to brush his teeth, but thinks it's a race....I usually stand there and brush mine at the same time to help him learn the proper amount of time a person should spend brushing to keep a healthy smile.

My kids are relatively good about brushing. The only thing is they don't brush long enough - we set a stopwatch in the bathroom & they use that while brushing now!

I've been so fortunate...both of my children are GREAT about brushing their teeth, altho I sometimes need to remind them. (Now keeping globs of toothpaste off the bathroom counter...THAT's a problem!)

I brush my son's teeth every night and bath time, and sometimes he asks to brush when I or my my wife is brushing ours.
I let them pick out the tooth brushes they like and the tooth paste. It helps them brush with things they like.
My kids actually don't mind brushing their teeth, my son sometimes forgets to, but not on purpose, thanks for the chance!

The oldest knows that he has to pay for half of the fillings if he gets a cavity, so he's really good about keeping up on his brushing!
My youngest son loves brushing his teeth but my oldest doesn't. I've even caught him just wetting the brush but not actually brushing! I remind him that the more he brushes the less he has to get dental work done.

She doth protest. I send her back until the teeth meet muster.
I'm a grandmother now but I do remember the kids hating to brush. I think I used to tell them the only way they could have a sweet snack is if they brushed afterwards. Thanks for the wonderful giveaway,

I have a teen age son. He doesn't have any trouble with brushing his teeth regularly, but I'm always worried about the quality, don't think he's doing well enough job with it. Think, he would love this kit and brushed his teeth better.

They may not care for brushing their teeth, but providing toothpastes in different fun flavors helps them brush every day.

It's my husband who can't stand brushing his teeth. It drives me crazy. I guess all the brushes hurt his gums. I've tried every kind of toothbrush imagineable. Perhaps this will work.

They don't like brushing. I buy children's toothpaste and let them pick their favorite toothbrushes out. garrettsambo@aol.com
It's not that they don't care, they forget and I have to remind them.

Thanks for the giveaway...luckily our kids have developed good brushing habits: when they were very little we never made a big deal about cleaning their teeth after meals, it was just something we all did...
