As Fall slowly turns into Winter, my family become more dormant and sluggish. We aren't huge fans of cold weather, thus, we moved to Florida. Sadly, we weren't aware that Florida can still get pretty cold. Last Winter, the lowest temperature was 19 degrees. BRR! Just thinking about cold weather makes me want to put on layers of clothes, pop in a DVD (or Blu-Ray), and sip hot cocoa with everyone. I feel better now! =-)

I LOVE receiving and giving DVD's as Christmas presents. Thanks to 20th Century Fox, I had the awesome opportunity to review (and giveaway) the recently released movie, Ramona and Beezus! I grew up on Beverly Clearly and was super excited to hear that this movie was being released.

"Teen sensation Selena Gomez (“Hannah Montana,” “Wizards of Waverly Place”) teams up with newcomer Joey King in this delightful coming-of-age comedy based on the best-selling books by Beverly Cleary. Ramona (King) is a little girl with a very big imagination and a nose for mischief. Her playful antics keep everyone in her loving family on their toes, including her older sister Beezus (Gomez), who's just trying to survive her first year of high school. Through all the ups and downs of childhood, Ramona and Beezus learn that anything’s possible when you believe in yourself and rely on each other."

Ramona and Beezus was released on DVD as of November 9th. I was out shopping at my local Walmart today and I found it in their DVD section. Grab this DVD for the entire family. This is a movie that kids of all ages will enjoy! We enjoyed the fact that it was almost like the book. The humor, the fun, and the imagination...it really brought me back to my childhood!
